Watch this short video and listen to Echart Tolle explain the power of listening and speaking from intelligence. Eckhart invoking the likes of J. Krishnamurti points out that there can be more than just words in conversation. If someone is speaking from the presence of intelligence the words can be more than just information but also a wonderful energy to awaken intelligence in others.

With due respect, Mr Eckhard Tolle is a commercial teacher.
I was trying to read one of his books.
Evidently, he is a compiler and his interpretation of J.Krishnamurti is entirely wrong.
Be careful with people who are trying to sell you something.

I like Eckhart Tolle. However, especially in the most recent book, it’s easy to interpret it as a war against the ego. There’s a perfection in the ego too, and seeing that perfection helps bring us to the present moment. In a war there’s no present moment, only attention on the conflict.
I wouldn’t say his take on Krishnamurti is wrong, but he does sometimes over simplify to have mass appeal.
